How to Use the GEPCO Helpline 118
The 118 line is PITC’s national contact centre for GEPCO and the other government-owned DISCOs. Then it routes your complaint to the right office using your reference number.
After the upgrade in November 2025, the centre also makes a feedback call and reopens complaints that staff closed without a fix. If the line is busy during a storm or a wide outage, send an SMS to 8118 or use the online portal instead.
GEPCO Head Office Contact Details
For matters the helpline cannot settle, you can contact GEPCO’s head office in Gujranwala. In addition, the Customer Services Director’s office handles consumer matters at head-office level.
| Detail | Information |
|---|---|
| Address | 565-A, Model Town, G.T. Road, Gujranwala, Punjab |
| Telephone (PABX) | 055-9200519 to 055-9200526 |
| Fax | 055-9200122 |
| Website | gepco.com.pk |
Start with 118 or your sub-division office, though. Head office usually asks whether you have already complained locally, so keep your complaint number handy.
Division, Circle and Sub-Division Offices
GEPCO serves seven districts through circle, division and sub-division offices. Your bill names your division and sub-division, which is the office to visit for billing corrections and meter issues.
| District | Major towns |
|---|---|
| Gujranwala | Gujranwala city, Kamoke, Nowshera Virkan |
| Wazirabad | Wazirabad, Alipur Chatha |
| Sialkot | Sialkot city, Daska, Sambrial, Pasrur |
| Gujrat | Gujrat city, Kharian, Lalamusa, Sarai Alamgir |
| Hafizabad | Hafizabad city, Pindi Bhattian |
| Narowal | Narowal city, Shakargarh, Zafarwal |
| Mandi Bahauddin | Mandi Bahauddin city, Phalia, Malakwal |
Office phone numbers change often, and we could not verify circle-level numbers from an official list. So ask the GEPCO helpline for the current number of your XEN or SE office when you need to escalate.
Which Number Should You Call?
Picking the right contact first saves time, so use this quick guide before you call.

| A fallen or sparking wire | Stay away; call 118, and 1122 if anyone is in danger |
| A bill that looks wrong | 118, then your sub-division office with a meter photo |
| A faulty or burnt meter | 118 and your sub-division office |
| A new connection or load increase | The ENC portal or your sub-division office |
| A copy of your bill | Our online bill check, no call needed |

Beyond the GEPCO Helpline: Escalation Contacts
If 118 and your local office do not solve the problem, three independent bodies can help. However, each one expects you to quote your earlier complaint number.
The Pakistan Citizen Portal app is another route for government services. For a step-by-step escalation plan and a sample letter, read our GEPCO complaint guide.
Safety First in an Electrical Emergency
Do not try to repair a service cable, meter or pole yourself. Instead, leave the supply side of your meter to GEPCO staff.
Tips for a Quicker GEPCO Helpline Call

- Know your feeder name, printed on the bill, for outage reports
- Describe the problem in one or two clear sentences
- Always ask for the complaint number before you hang up
